Will we see smart bracelets specially designed for the Apple Watch?

The watch Apple will have bracelets and other accessories created by other companies, that no one doubts. But will we see some "smart" for the Watch?

The question I am doing is not for nothing. Think of the iPhone and the Lightning connector. A world of possibilities opens up because of this small connector. You can find various kinds of accessories capable of several things like cases with attached batteries, pressure gauge, breathalyzer, home HIV testing, etc. The question is: Is it something to smart watches for sale from Apple?

Yes would be. It may not look, but the Apple Watch has a "hidden" door - perhaps Apple talk about it in Monday's event - in which the company's engineers and developers have direct access to the operating system clock. By it, for example, they do some product diagnostics.

This connector has six contact points made of brass and is within the lower groove of the bracelet. Yes, it is quite similar to Lightning taking into account that the connector iPads, iPhones and iPods has eight connectors but only uses six of them.

For now this connector Watch is used only for diagnosis, but the reasoning Matthew Panzarino, TechCrunch, makes perfect sense. Taking into account that the iGadgets connector can be used to extend the capabilities of products (examples I gave above), why not do the very same thing with the Watch? Of course, this may not happen at first, but who knows in the future is not possible to buy a bracelet at the clock able to provide more battery for it? Or maybe a bracelet with some kind of sensor that the Watch has not (eg, GPS) and integrating these features to the device?

Everything makes sense, at least for me. Opposing this idea, the 9to5Mac reported that this connector is actually the Lightning we know very well, and that although it exists in the clocks used by the employees of Apple (for testing and everything else), the commercial versions of the product (which we will see stores) will not have the connector.

But then I wonder: will the employees of Apple Stores would not use this port to also make diagnoses when a consumer take the watch to a wiseup store because of a problem / fault? Things will only know on Monday - or when the clock hit the market.

The curious on duty, while - for now? - We have this connector on the bottom of the bracelet groove in the top Apple put the traditional phrase "Assembled in China - Designed by Apple in California."
